Philippines midpoint

With my trip in the Philippines half way complete I am looking back on the past few weeks spent here and can not begin to write down the lessons learned, the memories gathered and the experiences that will forever be engraved in my heart. A trip to the motherland has me lost for words and simple smiles make the days go by fast. Looking back at each community we visited, every story we listened to and every inch of land I’ve stepped on I feel more and more rooted in the struggle of the people. My blogs have not been flowing out the way they should because there is too much to reflect on. I’ve been on the go for the past month and will be on the go in the following weeks to come. My hope is that I’ll be able to write more and take more pictures so that when it is time to sit down and reflect I can re-live every moment and picture myself back in Philippines, soaking in every moment and letting myself breathe in peace with every revolution I’ve had here.
